President Kenyatta in Addis Ababa for Official Working Visit

ADDIS ABABA – President of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta, has started his official working visit to Ethiopia on Tuesday afternoon.

Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and high-level Ethiopian government officials have warmly received the President of Kenya upon his arrival at Bole International Airport .

“I welcome to Ethiopia my brother Uhuru Kenyatta, President of the Republic of Kenya who joins today in a monumental moment for Ethiopia as we sign the telecom licensing agreement,” Abiy said.

“As Ethiopia goes regional with our Green Legacy initiative to plant 6 billion nationally and 1 billion prepared for our neighbors, we also took time to plant seedlings,” he added.

The President has been accompanied by investors and high-level Kenyan politicians.

During his stay in Ethiopia, Kenyatta will hold discussions with Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed on bilateral and regional issues of common concern.
