በጆርጂያ ሳቫና ግዛት ዩኒቨርሲቲ የሂሳብ መምህር የሆኑት ኢትዮጵያዊው ሙላቱ ለማ (ፕ/ር) የ2023 ምርጥ ፕሮፌሰር በመሆን ተመረጡ። ሙላቱ ለማ (ፕ/ር) በዘርፍ የተመረጡት በዓለም አቀፉ ከፍተኛ ባለሙያዎች ማህበር መሆኑን የአሜሪካ ኤምባሲ አስታውቋል።
ማህበሩ በዓለም አቀፍ ደረጃ በሙያዊ ስኬት፣ በአካዳሚክ ውጤት፣ በአመራር ችሎታ፣ በመስኩ ረጅም ጊዜ በማገልገል እና ለማህበረሰብ ባደረጉት አስተዋፅዖ በመመርኮዝ ለባለሙያዎች እውቅና እና ክብር ይሰጣል።
በፈረንጆቹ 2023ም ኢትዮጵያዊውን መምህር ሙላቱ ለማ (ፕ/ር) ምርጥ ፕሮፌሰር አድርጎ መርጧቸዋል።
ሙላቱ ለማ (ፕ/ር) በአዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርሲቲ በሂሳብ የመጀመሪያ እና ሁለተኛ ዲግሪያቸውን አግኝተዋል።
በኦሃዮ ከኬንት ግዛት ዩኒቨርሲቲ በሂሳብ የዶክትሬት ዲግሪያቸውን ያገኙ ሲሆን ፥ ለ28 ዓመታትም በሳቫና ግዛት ዩኒቨርሲቲ ማስተማራቸው ነው የተገለጸው፡፡
በአጠቃላይም ሙላቱ ለማ (ፕ/ር) ከ30 ዓመታት በላይ የሂሳብ ትምህርትን አስተምረዋል።
የሂሳብ ሊቁንና በሽልማት ያሸበረቁትን ትውልደ ኢትዮጵያዊ ተዋወቋቸው
ዶ/ር ሙላቱ ለማ ይባላሉ። የተወለዱት በኢትዮጵያ አርሲ ሳቡሬ ነው። በአሜሪካን ሃገር በሚገኘው ሳቫና ስቴት ዩኒቨርሲቲ የሂሳብ መምህር ናቸው።
ላለፉት 27 ዓመታትም በዚሁ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ሂሳብ በማስተማር ላይ ይገኛሉ።
ወደ ሃገረ አሜሪካ ከማቅናታቸው በፊት ለአምስት ዓመታት በሃዋሳ እርሻ ኮሌጅ በመምህርነት አገልግለዋል።
ወደ አሜሪካ ካቀኑ በኋላ ከኬንት ስቴት ዩኒቨርሲቲ ሁለተኛ የማስተርስና የፒ.ኤች.ዲ. ዲግሪያቸውን በሂሳብ አግኝተዋል።
በሚያስተምሩበት ዩኒቨርሲቲም ሆነ በመላው የሂሳብ ማህበረሰብ ዘንድ አዳዲስ የማስተማር ዘዴዎችንና የሂሳብ ቀመሮችን በማመንጨት የሚታወቁት ዶ/ር ሙላቱ በ2003 ዓ/ም ‘የሙላቱ ቁጥሮች’ የተባለ የሂሳብ ቀመር አስተዋውቀዋል።
ዶ/ር ሙላቱ ጥናቱን ለማከናወን ከሶስት ዓመት በላይ የፈጀባቸው ሲሆን፣ በአዲሱ ጥናታቸው ከ13 በላይ ቴረሞችን (የሂሳብ ቀመሮችን) አስተዋውቀዋል።
ከዚህም በተጨማሪ በዓለም አቀፍ ደረጃ ዕውቅና ባላቸው የጥናት ጆርናሎች ላይ 132 የጥናት ጽሑፎችን ያወጡ ሲሆን፣ በ15 ኮንፈረንሶች ላይ የጥናት ወረቀቶቻችውን አቅርበዋል።
ዶ/ር ሙላቱ በጥናትና ምርምር ብቻ ሳይሆን ለተማሪዎቻቸው በሚያደርጉት ልዩ ድጋፍም ይታወቃሉ።
በተለይም በሂሳብ ትምህርት አነስተኛ ውክልና ያላቸው የህብረተሰብ ክፍሎችን በመደገፍ በሳይንስ፣ ቴክኖሎጂ፣ ምህንድስና እና ሂሳብ ዘርፎች ጠንካራ መሰረት ኖሯቸው በትምህርታቸውም ሆነ በኑሯቸው ስኬታማ እንዲሆኑ በማበረታታትና ለውጤት በማብቃት የሚጠቀሱ ምሁር ናቸው።
ዶ/ር ሙላቱ በተሰማሩበት ዘርፍ ባደረጓቸው ከፍተኛ አስተዋጽኦዎች የተነሳ በሳይንስ፣ ሂሳብና ምህንድስና ዘርፎች የላቀ አስተዋጽኦ ላበረከቱ ሰዎች በአሜሪካ ፕሬዝዳንት የሚሰጠውን ልዩ ሽልማት ጨምሮ ሎሎች 12 ከፍተኛ ሽልማቶችን አግኝተዋል።
