DUBAI: The Dubai Criminal Court adjourned the case of a 21-year-old Ethiopian maid who stole gold jewellery from her sponsor to June 19.
According to the testimony of the victim, the defendant started working in her house three months ago and she was trustworthy. But after a while, when things began to disappear from her house, she doubted the maid. She asked her husband to accompany the maid to the shop while she inspected her room and luggage, and she found all the missing items hidden in a black bag in one of the maid’s bags. The stolen items contained six rings, a golden watch, two bracelets, three gold chains, a silver chain, and clothes for her and her daughters.
