ADDIS ABABA, Aug 3 (Reuters) – Ethiopia’s year-on-year inflation rose to 9.4 percent in July from 8.8 percent a month earlier, due to higher food prices, the statistics office said on Thursday.

Food inflation rose to 12.5 percent in July from 11.2 percent the previous month, the agency said. Non-food inflation was at 5.9 percent, down from 6.1 percent in June.
