Addis Abeba, March 8 (Prensa Latina) More than 800 citizens returned to Ethiopia on Friday from Sudan, according to a communication from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs released in this capital.
According to the text, 838 Ethiopians are already at home after weeks of negotiations.

The note adds these people are victims of ethnic conflicts, specifically fled conflagrations in the western part of Gondar, a city in the regional state of Amhara.

International Organization for Migration was also involved in the repatriation process, the statement added.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also announced that some 500 Ethiopians living in the Shagarab refugee camp, also in Sudan, will return to their country after the conclusion of the talks between the two governments.
