Subject: CALL ON THE COMMUNITY COUNCIL OF AFFILE TO CANCEL ITS DECISION OF 21 JULY 2012 DEDICATING THE SMALL MILITARY MUSEUM IN AFFILE FOR MARSHALL RODOLFO GRAZIANI
ACTION BY THE PROVINCIAL AUTHORITY OF LAZIO

Recalling, inter-alia, the new statue of the province of Lazio of 11 November 2004,

Further recalling the regional law of 18 Gebruary 2002,

Considering the decision of 21 July 2012 by the Council of the Affile Community whereby it dedicated the small military museum in Affile to Marshall Rodolfo Graziani,

Recalling that Rodolfo Graziani was a key leader of Fascist Italy who was listed in the United Nations war criminal list for having used gas against humans and ordered the bombardment of the Red Cross hospital in Ethiopia;

Orders the Affile Community Council to cancel the dedication of the small military museum to Marshall Rodolfo Graziani within 15 days from the date of the decision made by the Lazio Authority on 13 March 2015.

The Provincial authority calls on the Affile Community Council to surrender the funds the Province provided for the construction of the small army museum unless the Community Council carries out its orders on the cancellation within the designated time.

Ultimately, in the absence of action by the Affile Community council to carry out the request of the Provincial Authority, the Authority will take necessary steps to bring the matter to justice about the decision of the members of the Affile town Council regarding the issue at hand.
